New Frogspawn Coral

Hey guys. I got a new Frogspawn coral today and I was looking at it earlier tonight and noticed it has a mouth looking thing and at random times this fan looking thing would come out of the mouth. What is going on here? I just got it today so it's still closed up. Anyone know?

Never seen a frogspawn with a "tongue". Sounds to me like a barnacle.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. Lots of great info on that site by the way

I see. Well I guess it's harmless. From that site, I see that I also have CTENOPHORES. I noticed it on my polyps. I only see them at random times....looks like a long piece of string coming out from the polyps. It's weird how much you get when you buy just one coral.

I know the pic is a little fuzzy but is this something like what youve seen on yours?

Yeah I'm not really sure what it is. Probably a barnacle like the others stated. I have quite a few other hammers, torches, and frogpawns. This is the only one with this feather like object on it. The frag in the pic above is about 2 months old. The frogspawn has been growing quickly. I'm not concerned about it.
