Secret Santa Frag Swap Details inside

Ok, here is the entry form for the secret santa swap. Fill out what you will be bringing and what you desire to get. The swap will be on the 22nd, I am working on a location/sponsor. Email the entry form back to me at cudeaordie at yahoo dot com. Please don't submit an entry if you don't plan on making it to the swap.

The entry deadline will be on the 19th. I will email everyone to tell them who their recipient will be.

For the swap, just bring the frag in a bag with the recipients name written on it in sharpie.

If anyone has any suggestions, let me know how we can make this work out for everyone that wants to be involved.

We have a sponsor! I am going to work out the details with them before I let the cat out of the bag. You city dwellers will be happy with where it is. It is quite a drive for me, but oh well. Got I-Pass; will travel. I haven't gotten any emails yet. Lets make this thing happen peeps.

Ok, here are more details.

When: December 22nd. 2:00 P.M.

Where: 3841 Arthur Avenue
Brookfield, IL 60513

There will be raffle tickets handed out by DLC and some frags will be raffled off by them. Our gracious hosts will also be supplying refreshments. So, bring your frags, bring your wallets, and bring your good luck for the raffle. The deadline will be the 19th so I can get Mike and Elizibeth a head count. Get your entries in and lets show our support for The Dark Lord Coral Company.

This is not a CMAS affiliated event.

A lot of people have said that the 22nd would be a bad day for them. I am going to talk to the sponsor and see if the 15th is ok for them.

Mods, why did my sponsors name get removed? I am not shilling for them in any way. I am just trying to organize an event for some friends to get together, trade some frags, and have some fun.

Ok, the date has been changed from the 22nd to the 15th. I hope that works out better for everyone. Same time, same location, just different date. The deadline will now be the 12th to submit your entry forms.

Still not gonna go.
Kind of far and don't really wanna be a part of a secret santa frag swap gone lfs sale/raffle.
Tis the season for giving, not shilling.

Sorry to hijack GG, but...

-Anybody interested in having a Secret Santa Frag Swap in McHenry County? I may as well host so we don't have to bring stores into it. Just a good time with some buddies. Anybody participating in the frag exchange would be required to bring a frag. You do not need you wallet!

Let me work on some details. Since Xmas is almost here, it may be best to have an "Belated Christmas Secret Santa Frag Swap"!!!

ya, without that "bring your wallet" it would have sounded a lot better. all of us already expect to see great corals at the (said hosting place) so its already understood wallets will be involved either way, im still in if enough people go. i have a Tyree LE coral im bringing. it needs to color up after the rigorous dip and guaranteen i put it trough. but you know its not a 10 dollar coral and its pest free.

lets get along people this is for a good cause, Christmas and frags!!!

If I was in McHenry I'd probably be game...kind of like the idea of not having to bring a wallet for once. But go figure that GG is having it "hosted" by the folks out in Brookfield.

Fuppets, if you want to go, just shoot me an email with the type of coral you are bringing and the kind of coral that you desire to get. I don't want guys getting SPS that cant support it and such. On the deadline, the 13th, I will go through the entries and match everyone up by what they are bringing and what the other people want.

Jmick, you will have a PM shortly.

I hope this is the last hijack on this thread. If you have an issue, please just PM me or dont post. Have a little maturity people, thanks.

I would have had it at my house, but I am so far north that I think the turn out would have been very low. I wanted to find a place closer to the city so more people could make it. Our sponsor volunteered to be a host.

Gosh GG, The host is only a little farther from my house & you came all the way over here just to help with a water change? I feel so special... You kid is well behaved too! OK, sorry for another hijack but I just had to thank you after you stated that the hosting spot is a bit far for ya & you still came to help me out. Thanks!

No problem at all Jeni. My son was actually in rare form that day. He usually would have been bouncing off the walls. The frags are doing well. I am going to go SPS crazy after the tax season. Every time I look, there is something else I have to add to my must have list.
