Electric scare

Well I know it's been talked about over the years, but make sure your wiring around your tanks is as safe as possible. We had a little scare this weekend. My wife smelled something odd, and asked if I had done something different in the tank. Since I hadn't I went to the tank to see what she was talking about. Smelled real bad....something burning. Well it seems one of the connectors that was on my PC for years decided to catch on fire and melt. It was completely melted and charred. I'm feeling pretty lucky to say the least. I'm not sure what would have continued to happen had it not been caught so early.

Needless to say now I think I may switch to VHO's to supplement my pc actinics. Any suggestions?

I'm definately going to have to check out the T5's

Things are good Stixbaraca, well minus the small fire under the tank. Thats not going to help keep the temp down.
