color

hope someone can help,few weeks ago I bought a
ORA Green Polyp Toadstool Leather Coral , it was neon green , but now in not as green, it is groin but a little pale, is under 10k m.h., d.e. ph4 are low I have no sand bed and very little fish

oh one more thing I just moved the coral today closer to the top of my tank thinking tha lighting may be the problem

I got mine off ebay and its always stayed real green. I have a ton of light and flow and fish.

It seems that your not going to get much green with a 10K bulb. Have you thought about adding actinics?

i have two t5 actinics, it looks green but not neon green like wen i bought it. i take a picture tonite to show you guys

It could be just getting used to its new environment. Give it time. The polyps look like they have potential once they open up.

Like crispyreef said...give it time.

It looks healthy & happy. Sometimes soft corals (especially toadstools) take months to acclimate to a new tank. I bet you'll be very happy with it soon.

it might be your kelvin...try switching it to 14k. gl
