tropic marin pro reef
Is anyone using the Tropic Marin Pro reef salt? Im debating switching from reef crystals, getting some inconsistancies from batch to batch

Trppic marin is all I use. It seems to mix better and tesing shows all parameters just about ideal.... I do 10% weekly water changes and I do not need to dose anything...

FYI, the pro version is meant to be used with a calcium reactor. Otherwise use the regular Tropic marin.
I use the reg TM and I get consistent results every time. Been using it for about 1.5 years. I also heavily aerate my new saltwater over a few days. Helps maintain ph.

I've been using Tropic Marine for almost 3 years and it works great.
xcreonx I've never thought about aerating my new saltwater over a few days. Thats a good idea b/c everytime I change my water I have a decrease in PH big time and it takes a couple days to get it back to 8.3. Thanks for the idea. |

I use Tropic Marin Pro Reef salt 1 year ago and I am pleased with it.
It has high calcium (420-450) but low Alkalinity (KH=4)...
