LeMar Aquariums

Where do you buy these things? I can't find any info or pricing on them. Not looking to buy one now, but thinking of it as my next tank

You have to buy them through a fish store. I know that some stores are covered through warranties and some are not. It deals with shipping.

Do any local stores sell them? I'm just trying to get an idea of what sizes they come in (I've only seen cubes) on what kind of prices they have. I have always heard good things about these tanks. Does anyone know anything about these tanks?

My friend got a custom cube from Lemar through exotic early this year. It is a very nice tank.

You have to order them. There are no stores that stock them up north. They are very nice tanks. I plan on ordering a Lee Mar for my in wall project. If you give them a size, they can make it for you and also drill your holes.

You can order ANY size you want. If you look through TOTM threads, there are plenty of lee mar tanks in there. HTH

I don't remember the exact price but I think it was close to one thousand. It has starfire front and center overflow built-in.

there is a mars member by the name of Kieth who builds custom aquariums here in town. might be much easier and cheaper to have it built locally.

Yeah, I've heard he makes VERY nice tanks.

I got a quote from him and it wasn't cheap by any means, but it would be nice have the builder here in town so you can speak face to face with him.

Cheers,

Jim

Thanks Lil D. Heres what I found:

225G for $1359.99 + shipping
150G for $1249.99 + shipping
120G for $1039.99 + shipping

Which is about what I would have expected to have to pay. Shipping is going to be a killing though!

That was for the tank. I was not sure about the drilling because I did not know which way I was going to go; closed loop or not.
