Holy smokes...nice editing.

Here's the closest thing I have to it, my red mille. Came in as pretty much all red, now the base is green w/the red polyps. Taken under 14k with no actinics.

Thanks, Jose.

Eileen, it's an Astralux 14k bulb. The coloring on it has really shifted on me. The base is a very rich green coloration while the polyps are a rust red w/white tips. I think it needs less light to maintain the reds.

I have a frag of the rainbow acro on the way. Do any of you that own this coral have recommendations on placement? What kind of flow are you hitting it with and how has it responded?

Thanks!

Mine is midway under 8x24 T5s. For me, the more flow, the more polyp extension. My polyps arent as nice looking as the body of the coral, so I put it in a bit less flow. Its got a green base, red tips, and I'm starting to see a bit of a darker purple or blue coming in. It needs to grow more...

Nah, I really doubt that. We trade eachother all the latest and greatest pieces we both get in If he did, then I'm screwed

Mine is coloring up though, but nothing like the picture on Rommel's site. I'll try to get one up.

Just saw these last night (check the one on the left). Lighting is with T5s and a very clean white (I'd say along the lines of 12kk).

They're in my buddy's tank. I forgot to ask him where they're from though.

The blue mille with red, orange and green polyps came from a local fish store. Their colony was really small and I was lucky enough to get a frag. Their display tank had a chiller failure and all their sps did not make it. I believe I was one of two person to get a frag before the crash.
