I took a few pics of mine last night after feeding time, they do love their cyclopeeze. All of my LPS just go nuts for them.

My LFS has one like this, with the skeleton showing.
At first the skeleton was white, like the one in your pic.
It has been showing for so long now it is discolored by algae.
It does however look much better now than at first.

Think it just needs a good home or is there some special requirements for this coral?

my Lfs had it under power compacts. I'm sure it will be back to normal in about 4 months.

wow great lokking scolymia I saw one today at the Local store. He was asking for 160 Bucks for it and it was the size of a quarter.It was dark green with whit/yellow lines and the center was whitish. what is the going rate for them? I thought 160 was to much was i right?

all delight i am pretty sure they are aussie as i have seen the same great corals.i just thank god we have bayside corals to compete with th american market.also thank god the dollar is worth more.help me out bros

I am assuming like any Acan or Micro, with a diamond blade, correct??

I have talked to someone that has done this and they have had success. You just cut through the center of the mouth. I would use a bandsaw.

One of my friends has cut his before, I would never chance it.

To nice of a coral to risk an infection.
