Magnetic MH 250 down. Need help!
Hi,
I am having issue issue with my 4 year old magnetic MH 250. It started with my MH bulb turning on and then off continously. Now it does not even fire the MH bulb. I have Ohm/volt meter and took the case off. No black charring or obvious failures. I have an extra transformer and capacitor should I replace the whole thing or just the capacitor? Any other advise. Thanks Simon |

Can't really help you with that one. If you need a back up ballast, Black Coral Hawaii in Santa Ana had a couple Hamilton ballasts for $50 last time I was there. Might be a good idea to have one on hand.

Replace the cap first and see if it work...and then take it from there

I have a full setup, I was selling for $40... nice high quality stuff I have 2 of them
