New Frag rack

I built a frag rack today and it came out great. I'm just using two large magnets and eggcrate. doesn't impose much on the tank and works great. I can move it anywhere I want, no problem and it seems sturdy as hell! I used two part epoxy to connect the eggcrate to the magnet and then a couple of supports underneath.

Here it is:

Looks good Pat. I need to make something like that.

I had the magnets just sitting around. The epoxy and eggcrate was easy Jeff.

no, but similar. I got them from someone on RC that was selling them, hand made, before the mag floats became popular. Used to use it for one of my SEIO's and it's just been sitting in the cabinet for a couple of months. Same concept except larger.

It's just two part epoxy. You squeeze it out of two separate tubes and then mix together and cures in about an hour.

It looks really good! Just one problem... I think you need another one. That one is looking pretty full.

i love two part epoxy. im going to try to make one from an extra magnetic algae scrubber i have. sooooo when are the frags ready for sale or trade, i like the blue/torques one.

looks real good. do you have it mounted on the side of the tank? for my t5 light maybe its better if i mount it on the back and side to get the most light.

selling but for cheap! I'm a big believer in the $15.00 frag, no matter what it is. Taking a page out of RacenRich's frag selling book.

It's on the side madadi. Try yours first on the side, I think you'll get more from all the bulbs instead of having it in the back mostly under your blues. I used to run T5's so I figure you run blues on the front and back and then a mix, right?

I'm not sure pescadero, I originally bought them to hang my SEIO and stopped using it awhile ago. Got it from an RC member who was making them.
