ARO electronic halide ballasts?

Anyone have information on these ballasts? Sanjay really doesn't seem to test this ballast and I am not sure why. Do people feel they are inferior to...say the EVC ballasts. Reason I would like to know is that I am considering hellolights dual DE/T5 retrofit kit for my 90 with the Phoenix 14k bulbs. The EVC PPFD values are only inferior to the PFO HQI ballast (which I would rather not buy) and I am wondering if the ARO ballasts supplied with the retrofit produce numbers similar to EVC.

I have no other experiences with other ballasts or bulbs but I have an ARO ballast (150 watt) and ran it with a Phoenix 14K bulb. It came out really blue. I actually had to use some 10k CF bulbs to even out the color. I was never really satisfied with that bulb/ballast combo. I'm actually re-setting up that system and am researching what bulb I'm going to buy.

I have two of the 150/175 watt Aro ballast running my Ushio 14k 150 watt bulbs for over a year and they do a great job.

I've been running a 250W ARO ballast for my MH well over two years now without any issues. I've used it with 14K Hamilton and 12K reeflux bulbs.

I have a 250 watt ARO ballast, very good ballast imo, firing a hellolights DE retro kit. Great kit, great ballast.
