aiptaisa

A reefer in my area is selliing some small shroom and zoa frags. he does have aiptaisa in his tank. Is there a way to rid the frags of aptaisa before adding to my tank or is it just not worth the chance.

Shrooms and zoa's grow and spread easy I would just frag off the good ones and throw out the ones near the aptasia. Kalc works well but iif you get it on the zoa's or mushrooms it will kill them also.

peppermint shrimp is a hit or miss. i got a couple and they didn't touch it. i ended up blasting them with lime paste in my tank. i still see them once and while in the sump, but not in the display, maybe the peppermint grew a taste for them after all. good luck
