Time to move the tank, need helpers

I'd like to move my tank into the house next Sunday (18th of November). The last time it took 6 people to lift the tank and we felt the weight so I wouldn't want to do it with any less.

If anyone can help please reply or PM me. Pizza and beer is on me

Thanks Sandman and PV.

Lak, Bryan, and Richard are confirmed. Jesus and PV are possibles. Could use a couple more people if anyone else can lend a hand. If I have to I can call non-reefing friends, but they just don't understand

Good to hear, congrats on the addition to your family! I look forward to hearing more about it.

My PLC and control panel are not done yet, but I'm happy to show you the mess of wires that I have.

Hi Karl. I think we might have it covered depending on a couple of the people who have not committed yet. Thanks for the offer to come all the way down from Elk Grove, I appreciate it and will let you know if anything changes.

No worries Anthony, I was able to round up enough help, and a few spectators too To all those who are coming over, I'll see you tomorrow around 11:00 AM.

Dan & Karl, you guys have PM in case you want to drop by and have a beer.

Thanks,
Jake.

Hey Nathan I was wondering what happened to you. I'm glad it wasn't anything serious, and at least you had a good excuse The five of us managed the tank ok. I agree with Bryan - Richard is rowdy. I think we could arrange a match between him and Kimbo Slice (Battle of the Miami Brawlers!).

We didn't have any extra hands to take pics and our camera has been kaput for a couple of weeks anyway. We just got a new camera. Here's a pic of the tank in place.

It looks small in the picture, but to put it in context my messy desk is 7 feet long. The tank polished up pretty good. I need to work on the outside of the front a little still. The grime you see in the picture is actually on the bottom of the tank. And of course I'm going to put a new skin on the outside of the stand. Izze has been crawling around in there so I taped along all the rough edges on the stand.

Kinda hard to tell from this pic but it was really scratched up before I polished it.

Another BIG thanks to all those who helped move the tank!

For whatever reason it looks smaller in the house than it did outside... I could have gone bigger! In reality I'm very happy with the way it fits in the room, Sandra commented that she's glad I went with 3 feet deep instead of 4 feet deep, I have to agree.

PV - I wasn't referring to you when I mentioned someone didn't show up. The list up above ^ is who I expected to come, one of those guys had a little too much fun the night before but we ended up being fine with 5 people.

Thanks again.
