Should i get Deltec AP300 skimmer
My LFS is selling a demo not used Deltec AP300 skimmer at almost half price but they say that it's rated for 200g normal stocked aquariums what is normal for them and the thing is that i have 180g aquarium and 40g sump planning to ad a refugium at around 20g so should i buy it or whait and spend a little more and get a Euroreef RS250 i know that Deltec are real good skimmer would the Deltec out performe the Euroreef or will they be not much diffrence if i buy they Deltec i will be saving 200$
my stock list is Kole tang powder bleu tang naso tang pyramide butterfly yellow coris wrasse cooperband mandarin pink tail trigger(in the future) thanks rick |

RS250 is a much larger, more powerful skimmer. I wouldn't use an AP600 on that size tank despite the "rating". An RS250 is the right size skimmer. BTW, I have owned both.

I dont have it any longer, but I liked it a lot. Its a beast of a skimmer @ 30" tall. Make sure it will fit. Its a great skimmer for the size system you are setting up. The AP600 is also a nice skimmer, but I wouldn't use one on anything above a 90G.
