This is a link to some new shots I took of my tank this week. The tank is doing really well so I wanted to share, if anyone cares to look. The frags that several of you have shared with me are doing great, and one day this tank should look amazing!
Thanks, Mitch |

How much of your coralline is this plating type?
I'd be interested in getting some I'd like to teach it to do tricks (grow plating up a thin plastic wire). Maybe in a few weeks we could arrange something?

So funny Ribs. I took that picture because that coraline is so crazy.
Thanks for the comments! I will throw a couple of full tank shots up. Thanks much to Bwest, who I picked up 6 more awesome frags from today!!! ok - it's official. The tank is at capacity. I had no idea that sps would be so addicting! |

No seriously!!!
Interested in a frag of that coralline in the next few weeks. I've seen it do that in pics online once or twice and in person only in Hidden Reefs old upstairs display tank and alittle bit in an old tank at Aquarium Discount here in south jersey. Neither of those stores would frag it for me Consensus was that it's really really old before it plates like that. I believe that electric130 (think that's his name) had some posted here on RC in a pic awhile ago but my search is down so cannot find it. He wasn't selling it either Reef goal 47: I will train some to plate on a wire one day.

well, that tank has been up for 10 years, so the "old coraline" theory may be true. I just noticed it doing that though in the past few months.
If it keeps growing I will frag it for you. I will look at it in a bit and see if there is a good piece to chip off. I don't want to mees it up since it is so cool |

This really is a tank that RC built! Hopefully the growth will continue and in a year it will be something to see. |

definetly looking good. I like that algae too..... I have some similar, not a coralline, more leathery, grows like a staghorn fern...

Brett,
They are doing awesome. Especially unknown #5. It is by far my favorite coral in terms of color, and I swear I see it growing daily! Actually, I took som pics of it last night to show you the growth. I have to run to work, but I will post them tonight. |

Brett,
Here are the shots I promised of unknown #5. AKA my new favorite coral. Here is the last one from your tank... and here are a couple from the other night. Here is that tabling acro. It is a cool green under my lights. and lastly, my sohal is now a camera hog. Always wants to be fed and gets in my way when I am trying to get a picture.. Thanks again Brett! |

Lookin' good
No idea what it is, but I used to call it the Chantelle acro, because Chantelle was the girl's name that owned the tank I saved it from. Maybe it could catch on.
