Another Mandarin Casulty
Well, unfortunately I just got a call from the Mrs. that the Mandarin is dead. She didn't die from starvation either. She appretly jumped from the tank, through some egg crate, and ended up on the floor.
I'm getting ready to head home from work and will check water params and try to find the cause of her jumping. RIP L.S.D. Coffman |

that is a bummer...what other fish do you have in the tank...most likely it isnt parameters. it is more likely to be another fish chasing it out of the tank.

I have a hogfish that jumped out of the tank once. I noticed my puppy playing with something yellow and I didn't pay much attention, after a couple of minutes I noticed what he was playing with. I thought he was a gonner but I put him in the tank and crossed my fingers. Its been about 5 months now and he perfect. I got lucky. I guess my dog was just licking him. He survived and I learned to keep a lid on the tank.
