I put it in my tank, not so much for sps as for critters, pods, bugs, spirobranchus, and whatnot. I'm not sure it is of any direct benefit to acropora or montis is it?

I feed dt to my tank and really do not see any diff in my sps. Ive also read that sps dont eat phyto but do eat zooplankton.

SPS does not eat Phytoplankton directly, but zooplankton feeds on phytoplankton, so by feeding the zooplankton, you'll indirectly feed the SPS.

It's good for filter feeders too, like clams, gorgonias, etc.

I started dosing it to my tank a month ago and have noticed a big difference in my SPS. I believe that they do benefit indirectly. Polyp extension in ALL corals has improved as well.

I have not noticed any anything significant (in SPS, clams, LPS or invertebrates, really anything) when I dosed phyto other than turning my skimate green.

I am now heavier stocked with SPS so I may give a another bottle a run and will again watch all my inhabitants.

Before I stopped I was sure like everyone else it was having "indirect benefits". I am less sure at this point....

In my opinion, dosing with DT's to improve SPS is not really the best thing to do.

For everything else, yes that'd be really beneficial, but don't expect it to be a huge impact on SPS.

PE may be greater because perhaps live zooplankton start going around like crazy for this stuff?

Has anyone noticed an increase in phosphates when dosing DT's?

Indirectly they do. Zooplankton, amphipods, copepods, etc will feed on DT's and they are consumed by corals.
