Sea Nut, I have that exact same look red anemone in one of my tanks. I've never been able to figure out what it is. It's been there for nine months. It moved once to the top of the live rock and then moved down onto a sea shell and has remained there. It has only been one for a long time. It has become considerably bigger now - about 4 inches high. I just figured because it didnt spread it was a "good" type.

In fact, my elegance coral attacked it and so I moved it away. I suppose a good way to kill them is move there rock around Elegance coral - they have powerful stingers!

My instant reaction with your second pic is an orange ball anemone which is actually a type of mushroom coral, but has a very intense sting for a mushroom. I have one that is so far not a problem, but have heard that when they reproduce, they do it like crazy all over the gravel which will limit and irritate many or your animals.
