overflows at the sides?
Hi my plans are for a 65x36x30 300 gallon tank to fit in an alcove. I will only have the front pane for viewing. I imagine it will be a major pain if not impossible to reach the back of my tank. I want a good amount of flow so I was thinking of putting an overflow box and a closed loop in each of the 2 36inch sides. That way I will be able to reach them for maintenance. Is this a good idea? Advice? Suggestions?

My suggestion is to get it out of the alcove. If you can't get to the back of your tank for maintenance, then your kind of asking for trouble. I would attempt to make it accesible on all sides, even if it is only 6" of access on the back.
