garod,

ok, sorry i was making jokes but you did a great public service announcement. after i read how you caught him, i decided to catch my clarkii clown that has been rippin' my coral beauty apart. her fins are all torn up eversince i bought this clarkii about a week ago. i was contemplating taking my rocks out, but decided against it. i was hoping that they would eventually stop biting eachother since my coral beauty pretty much gave up fighting and stays clear of the clarkii. i was getting tired of waking up and seeing more of coral beauty's tail and fins chopped off. not only that but my wife was gettin' ****ed at me because the coral beauty was the one fish in the tank that she picked out and loved.

anyway, went to petsmart and picked up the same critter box. baited the tank with brine shrimp.... the clarkii was going nuts not wanting to go in, but wanted to eat so bad. it started to chase everything around in the tank because everyone else was going inside eating. after about 1.5 hours, he decided to go in and i pulled on my fish line to close the trap door... the rest is history.

i would recommend this method to anyone wanting to take out a fish without bothering everything else in the tank. my little boy and i just sat back on the couch, ate some chips and waited for the fish to jump in. simple as that. kinda like spending the hour fishing at the lake, waiting for a fish to bite!

thanks bro... i owe you a beer!

Good I'm glad it worked for you. It's definately the best trap ever. Next time I'm out in Diamond Bar I'll hit you up for that Beer. Probably in 2 years or so. hahahah.
