Arrow Sump

I plan on making a sump for my 90 aga. If anyone is willing to share some pics or links Id appreciate it. Also a buddy of mine said there is a post called show me your sump or something close to that. Does anyone have that link.

Jeff,
I just installed my 20 gallon sump. I'm please with the layout (0 bubbles and plenty of work room). I'm sure it could be used for a larger size sump.

The key to the baffles is to put in the raised ones first (use block to keep them at the same height. Just ensure the raised ones are small, and you have enough clearance to lay the lower ones flat on top and raise them as you slide them between the raised baffles. If not, then you will need to insert the baffles one at a time. Just ensure you do one a night to let the silocone cure if your doing glass.

Good luck,
Jon

I only use carbon in a bag that lays at the opening for the bubble traps. But I wanted an area big enough to place my heater in if it didn't fit in the designeplan. Luckily it did.
