hey john

i started with 8 females and 1 male and lost two females early on. The ones that did make it are eating mostly mysis. It may be too late but you can try to add Zoe or Garlic to the food.

I would regard it as common and acceptable loss for anthias.

Anthias are plankatovores that eat alot of tiny food in the wild. Try turning off the powerheads and feeding Daphnia and cyclopeeze, alternate between garlic & selecon or vitachem.

Mine still have not touched NLS Pellets, but love the Daphnia.

Good luck!

2x daily, and I pause the Tunzes. Let them eat! When I'm not working then I would feed them 3x daily.

For Daphnia, the Hikari Brand is smaller than the Ocean Nutrition one. They eat both, but I use the Ocean Nutrition thinking it would fill them up more. My lyretails now eat some mysis, but they love the Daphnia.

Unfortunately an auto feeder doesn't work for me since the Anthias won't eat pellets or flakes, the chromis are pigs and I don't want them any bigger.

I feed once per day. Pellets mostly, occasionally I treat them to cyclopeze or mysis. The pellets I use is the Spectrum for small fish. the pellets are the size of grains of salt. I then soak the pellets in Warner Marine ReefPure Vitamin/HUFA Supplement.
