What are they made of? Can you clue acrylic to it? Or are you using pvc, can you glue pvc to it?

its a pvc junction box
im using clear pvc

i was thinking just drill a hole with a hole haw and put the pipe in!

Depends if they come big enough otherwise I wouldn't see why not other than the screws. Use stainless ones like some salt safe submersible pumps do and they should be alright...

I think the seals on those lids are only meant to be weathertight not watertight. You may have leaks...

You can get those quite large but I would glue it together with Weld-On 16 or 40. I would not try to use it with the seal it comes with and screws. Also, they are fairly thin-walled and may not hold the weight of a skimmer on top.

Something to consider is that if you have a plastics company nearby, they will probably have a scrap bin that they sell out of.

A couple trips to the scrap bin and you would get the acrylic to make the box very cheap and be able to build a better box.

PVC sheet is very expensive, particularly the perforated PVC. Whatever company you can get PVC sheet from, should be selling other plastics as well. I have ordered it online, but you have to be careful about shipping charges.
