how many electrical outlets suggested?

Hi, I will be getting an electrician to install electrical outlets dedicated to my tank setup. (220 gallon) I'm trying to avoid using lots of powerbars and I have a dedicated circuit. How many plugs should I put in? It seems as if there are a million things to plug in and a million things I haven't thought of yet.

Thanks

How many depends on what you are plugging in. Then a couple of extra for other stuff you haven't thought of or hasn't yet been invented. Use your common sense and talk to the electrician about what he's comfortable with.

How many do most people have and maybe I'll take an average.

Have you considered 2 dedicated breakers? That way if GFI blows one circuit, you still have the other to keep your tank running.

Figure simple set up =

4 - lights
4 or more - powerheads
2 - skimmer
1 - return pump
1 - fudge light
? - stand and canopy fans
2 - heaters
1- chiller

some can be eliminated by pluging into a controller or a timed light strip.

Any additions?

It is unlikely that anyone will be able to spoon-feed you an answer without knowing your setup in detail and what your future plans are.
