There is a bunch of scary looking red worms in my tank...what are they??
I just checked out my tank after the lights were turned off for they day and noticed a bunch of red worms things all over the place! What are these things...some of them are pretty big....up to 2 inches long...oh and they have lots of legs? Are they bad.....have they been eating my zoanthids.. cause something has been....

Most probably just bristtle worms, most of them are detrivorous.

Anything like that guy? They are beneficial filterfeeders and only in strange and/or extreme situations do they ever cause a problem. I wouldn't be concerned

Don't touch them with your skin, they will "sting" you. If it happens soak the wound in white vinegar.
They are good for the tank though.

Ive seen bristle worms.. and even smaller ones.. anybody know what the Really small Red ones.. look like tubaflex worms..

deff are bristle worms.. I have seen it happen. I saw a bristleworm eating my zoa. I saw juice flowing through the worm.

the species that eats soft coral are very rare and their not red.
