Gotta love people that reply without reading.

I sold all the corals because I dont have time to keep water quality up. I am enjoying my FO setup way more now that I dont look at it like "work"

I asked in another thread, but just in case you miss it, did you ever have any issues with your niger trigger and clams? I just bought a baby one (maybe 2"), but I didn't think I'd be able to keep any clams with it. Now that I'm looking at it again, I can't figure out where I read that info.

My niger trigger was an angel. Never had a single problem with him other than the one time he jumped into my overflow box. lol

He was about 4" long.

Here is a video clip of my fish only tank.

Before everyone goes nuts about how many tangs I have in my 90g. They are all fairly small accept the sohal (5") and I am in the process of setting up a big tank in my basement. I will move the powder blue and sohal into the big tank.

Thanks. I plan to add a rose bubble tip anemone tomorrow for my clowns.

The flow is only from a single vortech pump that is throttled down to about 75%.

Bought him from bigals.

He did have ich and infected my whole tank so I removed all fish from my tank for 6weeks and treated them all with hyposalinity.

I bought all of it from a local guy that runs a store from his basement. He is sold out of it and does not expect to get more hatian LR anytime soon.

Sorry

Man iam so jealous lol. Good looking anemone and urchins. BTW how are you goona keep the urchins from getting to big. I once saw a urchin so big( it statred small but got really huge) the guy was trying to get rid of it cause the quills were to long. Can you clip their quills so they don't get to big?Do anemones need special food or only light to live? Thanks

You can give them a hair cut and it does not hurt them.

Xeon, how about a tank shot with your Moonlights mounted. I would like to see how you have them setup with your T5 fixture.

Nothing fancy really. I just mounted them to a 2x4 then atached that to my wall.

Hey xenon, i got one more question(sorry to bug so much). When you had your first light fixture, did your corals(when you had them) grow or look the same when you switched to t-5 lamps? I know you have a 4 bulb t-5 fixture but I want to get more corals, clams and stuff, and was wondering if the 6 bulb t-5 fixture you had was enough light for your corals especially for the beautiful clam you had. I am asking cause everybody says that clams need high intensity lighting, is this correct? Thanks again.

6bulb tek light is more than enough light to keep sps and clams at the bottom on a 24" deep tank.

Check this guy out. The most amazing tank I have ever seen and he uses T5 only.

Nice looking urchin, I like the colors. And that link you have posted with the T-5 Is pretty sweet but with the wattage he Is running It explains the growth and colors all his corals are producing.
