Barebottom clean-up crew

Hey all,
been running barebottom for a couple years now and no complaints yet. I'm working on overhauling my clean-up crew again and have a couple questions. Currently all I have is astrea snails and 1 red-hermit leg crab.
Was thinking of adding more snails, -1 red-hermit crab, 3 emerald crabs. Is it possible to add cucumbers, conch crabs (queen conch), or sea stars to a barebottom tank??
thanks

I'd go with the Astreas, some Ceriths, and a few Emeralds and/or Brittle stars if you like. But the best BB clean up crew for my money is a good set of powerheads.

Try and get Trochus snails, they can right themselves on a bare bottom.

What would the point be in a bare bottom? They filter sand.

There are some BB tanks running cucumbers, so yeah, you can do it.

I would imagine they'd mostly enjoy any piles of detritus you may have before theyre cleaned/removed.
