if done right and you spread out the weight tile is fine.I have my tank on tile as well.

I've only got a 150 on a wood floor right now... but when I sell my house in a yr or so and buy something else..would love to do something similar to what you are doing...looks fantastic so far! Carole |

That what I was thinking putting the rubber on top of about 1 foot square piece of steel to distribute it.
You have one heck of a sweet tank CONGRATS...
