Metal Halide Help

I have a 75G RR I am building. Its 48''L x 18''W x 16''H. I have 2 x 250MH w/ 2 x 96 actinic. I am hanging the hood from the ceiling but I want to know far from the water level I should hang the lights. I have a 1/4 chiller so heat isn't a factor. Can I hang them closer than normal with a chiller? Please reply with some help.
