mrs. wages pickling lime in Miami

anyone know what publix in Miami sell Mrs. wages lime in south Miami, kendall area. Miami only please I am not gonna drive to broward for it.

Publix I believe stopped carrying it, ask your produce manager to look it up. I ended up ordering a case direct from them.

nope ball pickling lime is good also, as long as i can go to a store in Miami and buy it.

Roger's Publix is in Weston and I believe they carry it because he requested.

heck yeah, I really just want to make some kalk paste to kill some aiptasia. don't go out of your way by any means though. If you stop in the publix and they have it pick it up. No special trip needed though.

Jess, check the super walmart in florida city at the canning section. There was some stock available about three months ago.

Went to Wally world and checked and they had about 3 packages of pickling lime. They were about $2.69 i think each. Not in grocery section but in housewares where they keep the ball glass jars.

Bernie, one of the most important benefits of adding limewater to your tank is that it maintains calcium and keeps your PH stable. Since I started using limewater in my tank a few years ago, I've seen significant improvement in coral health and growth.

Once you get your calcium levels to where you want them, you dose limewater at night. Then I test at least once a week to see if everything is ok. The reason for dosing at night is because limewater has a really high PH and can significantly raise your PH in your tank if you do it during the day. At night, your PH is at it's lowest so your tank will maintain at it's proper PH.
