I've had Joe's Juice affect all corals. That's why you're suppose to turn off your powerheads when you dose.

If you're careful with how much you dose, it seems to be relatively safe ...

Of course, I only have softies, so your mileage may vary.

actually softies are affected more by it.

if you think about it, aiptasia anemone has more in common with soft corals than sps.

just according to my experience.

It will kill whatever eats it. The benefit of Joe's Juice is that you can use very little of it and target feed the anemones. They will gladly eat it, unlike Kalk solution, which they will avoid. If you carefully feed the anemone the JJ, it will die and hopefully nothing else will come into contact with it.

Works on mojano anemones great, too!

no you're good with peppermint. the only thing you have to watch out for is that they look a lot like camel shrimps, which could pick on corals.

watch for the humps on their back which = camel.

I have used joes juice and its great for a couple of weeks, but the freaken aptasia keep coming, and it's not true that whatever eats the stuff dies, I have a emerald crab that loves pickled anemone, he waits til they are all closed up and tears em up, but the PH and all flow should be turned off.
