leaky bulkhead
I have a big problem i cannot get my 2" heavy duty bulkhead to stop leaking. It is my return bulkhead and I believe maybe the pipes from the inlet of the pump are putting tension on the bulkhead and messing up the seal. Do any of you guys have an idea of what I can possibly do?

You can run a bead of aquarium silicone around the inside of the bulkhead on the exterior flange (the side without the rubber hasket.) Most likely there is an imperfection in the surface or it's not lined up quite perfectly due to the plumbing. The silicon will fix small leaks 99% of the time in my experience.

Do you have the seal on the inside and not the outside?

I re did all the plumbing and it is fine now. I guess the pvc was pulling on the seal somehow.
