Bradleyj, Great pix! I have a question for ya...what's the temperment of that rabbitfish in the 2nd pic? I almost bought one today for only $30 with beautiful blue coloration of the stripes and squiggle lines (for lack of better discription), very bright color not faded like sometimes. The only problem is I am worried my tank is a bit too small so I didn't bring him home. I've got a 55 gallon and he's about 3 1/2 inches nose to tail. Any advice on this guy, should I pick it up tomorrow or should I just let it go to another hopefully larger home. The price seemed right, but I don't want to put him in a bad situation. My other tankmates are in my sig

Thanks everyone. Scottkelly911, My Rabbitfish is very mild mannered and an excellant tank mate. I've had him for over three years now and he was about 3 inches in size when I bought him.
But as you can see, he is almost nine inches now and eats alot of food. 55g tank might be alright for a little while, but would soon be too small. Unless you plan on upgrading to a larger tank, I would pass on him.

I've had the cleaner just about a year now. And I feed about 3-4 times a day.

I have to completely honest those pictures are amazing! You get amazing shots at your fish, it is almost like they stop and posed for you. I have to get you props on the wrasses you did a really nice job raising them!

Tongan flame is very nice, I spy a male watanabei in there too. In fact you have a lot of great fish First picture is why I love wrasses, they're cool cats.

How many anthias do you have?

Does your cleaner wrasse eat prepared foods?

Thanks, I have 7 anthias's 5 bartletts and 2 dispars. One of my first fish I put in the tank was my female crosshatch trigger, she is one of my favorites.

And yes, I do have a male watanabie, I added him to keep my female happy, but I guess it was too much for her, she passed away a couple of months ago.

Sorry to hear about the loss of the female. I guess the good news, if any, is they're a little easier to come by than the males... if you ever wanted to replace her.

The CH trigger is beautiful.

We have similar fish - the wrasses, rabbitfish, watanabei's... I'm in the process of setting up a 360g, which all my fish will get moved into. On top of that I'm planning to add dispar and bimaculatus anthias, a tang or two, and an emperor angel. A CH trigger (or pair) was something that I had been kicking around but haven't been able to decide. I've been told that they're really aggressive at feeding time (like other triggers) to the point of getting wild enough to frag corals What's your experience with that? How does she interact with your other fish normally?

She is great with the other fish, she gets along fine with all of them. I haven't experienced any problems with her at feeding time either. I have more trouble with my hippo tang knocking coral off and bothering other fish. I've thought of trading her, especially if she gets much larger. What's your thoughts on a regal? Do you think it would get along with my watanabie?
