2 gallon aquarium

Hey guys I was just wondering what would be a good clean-up crew for a 2 gallon aquarium without over crowding it?

Thanks in advance.

Well I don't want to have any crabs so you recommend I just go with the snails?

I got two nass snails and one similar to anastrea
So tree total.
Hopefully this works out.
If it doesn't I'll just add some more.
Hopefully they live too.

Personally I would only go with a couple snails for such a small tank. I had two snails in my 2.5g and they were plenty.

Just realize that nassarius snails are meat eaters. They will help with left over food but will do nothing for algae.

Oh that's great news.
I have a nassarius snail but don't have any food that I feed into the tank.
Oh joy for me.
He's been in there a week so we'll see how that goes.

I have a few hermits and 1 Astrea snail in my 2.5 pico. They don't really keep the algae down and the amount of detritus left on the bottom is amazing. I installed a fiber floss filter and will have to use a turkey baster to get it into the water colum so it gets filtered out.

If you only are keeping corals, you may want to skip the clean up crew. JMHO though.

I have the same in my 10gal, I have 2 nass snails, but after a fight with brooklynella I don't have any fish. So I just take a little piece of flake food and hold it in front of them. Keeps 'em happy until I get around to putting another fish in there. It's been about 2 months and they're doing great.

As far as snails... I'm partial to cerith, they don't bulldoze too much and they've done a pretty decent job at keeping my tank clean. I'd also recommend a hermit or 2... but, I also agree that they're headaches when it comes to knocking frags over. I have to put atleast 2 frags back in place every morning. Then again, if I'd just get off my but and get to the store for some more superglue, it wouldn't be an issue.
