Car Rental

I will need a rental car for Sunday and the drive back to the airport on Monday morning and was wondering if any of the major car rental companies have a facility near the location for MACNA? We have family in the area that we want to visit Sunday late afternoon and evening then turn the car in Monday morning since we have a 7:00 am flight. Really will not need a car the first part of our stay so just trying to save a little money.

How are you intending to get to and from the airport? The shuttle service to the hotel is a private, for fee company, so you are probbaly better off getting a car for your entire visit.

Was planning on taking a cab but the overall cost may be a wash so you could be right. Just looking to see what the options are.

Check with Enterprise, they operate some rental locations in the area.
I'm not sure they are open on Sundays, however.

David,

The zip for the hotel is 15146 so you can search. Avis, Budget and Enterprise all have locations nearby and all have locations at the airport for drop off.

If you have more than one person, it will almost certainly be cheaper to just rent the car for the weekend.

Hope this helps.

Adam

Some really good news for a change. A real stroke of good luck, all the traveling that I have been doing for work is paying off in ways that I have not thought about before, the rental car for Pittsburgh is only going to cost $9.50 for three days with all the points that I have. This means that we can buy a extra beer or two.

I would reccomend looking in hotwire or something on the lines of that to pick up car at airport on day x to day y u are staying, by going that way u will save alot more $$ and get unlimited mileage.
