Great tank, great work!
Thanks man.
I worked till 4.00 am last Saturday night climbing up and down of the aquarium. Since my wife slept, I had to climb down to see the placement of rock and coral with every adjustment. Very very tough to do a tall tank/wide tank. I had to be half naked everytime working on the tank to prevent wetting my T-shirt.

I have 25 frags coming in tonight by air, looks like going to be yet another long night.

I had to do a great job that will one day far surpassing my previous tank (which is a great tank to me), to ease the feeling of lost.

VERY nice looking tank... especially in such a short amount of time. It must be really hard working on it considering it is 100cm
tall, great job!

I hire helper from the LFS to install the basic rock frame according to pre drawn layout. And it took me a few days to fine tune and place the corals. I am just glad it is almost done.

Almost no LFS is selling SPS since there are extremely few hobbyst can keep SPS alive.
On top of that the LFS think SPS is bad deal since they brown out so fast and few will buy brown out colonies.
There is also hardly any fine equipment or addictives available.
Our small group had to import everything via Singapore.
We still have to travel great distance from the big cities to reach clean reef and most of the area wild havesting is banned, especially to visitors.

We had to mail order from Bali exporters to get those tiny frags. Big monti or fragile staghorns are just impossible to ship without damage.
news to me thx for the info.
Again great tank.!

My sps shipment has just arrived by air cargo from Bali.
They look good but a bit pale and are tiny.
Many of my old corals has browned out due to the stress during tank set up and the algae has not gone away.
I will post some close up in a month or 2 when condition improves.

That tank is awesome and huge! No need to go to the ocean to dive, you could just charge people a nominal fee to dive in your tank! A great way to recoup your funds

amazing tank!

can you get corals from the people that supply us. (the exporters?) i know its much cheeper to get it from the coral farm than have it shipped. cuz the shipping makes it so expensive for us when we buy.

awesome tank btw---TOTM

I am using or going to be using ASM G6 + H&S A200-1260X2.
They combine for 3 Sedra 9000 and 2 Ehem 1260 total 5 needle wheels and rated for total 1700 GL.

I definitely hope that is enough.
However, it is not going to be possible to have extremely low NO3 and PO4 without a Sulfur reactor and Phosphate reactor.

I am using both to bring down the nutrient due to heavy feeding to the 60+ fish I have.

I have no wrasse at all so far. In fact I am avoiding them.
I do not have the skill to keep their color beautiful, despite feeding enriched brineshrimp, blood worm, flake and pallet.

Thank for the encouragement.
It was a big devastation for me when my 5 year old 500GL crashed.
Now I am happy and satisfied, only have to wait for the colonies to grow.
