AC condinsation 4 top off water ?
i was just having a discussion about this with my buddy here and does this look possible? i mean given that you maintain your AC and there isnt alot of crud on your system. could you reroute your drain tube through a filter sock and use water for a top off water ?
i mean this is condensation there is no chlorine/chloramines fluoride just whats in the air and out tanks are already inputing air through our skimmers. so could this be a possible ? i was also thinking about redirecting to my pool for a top off there as well. so i would like to hear comments on this thanks Dennis

If you do not like the tank go right ahead.
The coils on a condenser are aluminum and are full of chemicals, not to mention what is in the drip pan that will if it has not already started to rust. Then you have the problem of maintenance it's self on the condenser. You see the chemicals used to clean them are not exactly fish tank friendly. Bottom line Don't Do it.
