Depending upon how much you want to spend, I'd recommend this one:

Depending on how much you want to spend I would recommend the canon 30d... Its an awesome camera for the price...

Canon EOS 30D

For a nice walk around lens :

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS

For a nice Macro :

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro

Again these are just personal recommendations... I would look around on dpreview.com and then go to a local camera shop and hold a few diff ones to see what feels the best to you...

Awesome setup...

How do you clean the surface of your acrylic tank without scratching it? Any tips?

Question regarding empty weight of your tank

Bart,

I am about to adopt a 500 gallon acrylic tank, 120x30x30, and I'm trying to arrange movers for it. Do you, or anyone else reading this, know what the average weight per gallon for a 500+ gallon acrylic tank would be?

I assume 4 movers, but thought I would ask.

Thanks
Josh

BTW, your tank is amazing! I recently built in a 180 and the 500 is gonna have to be cichlids for now...

oops

ah yeh... the weight assuming it is empty. Just trying to gauge the total empty weight of an acrylic tank that size.
