If you are talking about the "Limited Edition" Mike Paletta's Purple Porites, then yes it looks just like the picture. The one I got from LA was totally brown when it arrived and took a couple months to start getting it's color back, but now it is very nice.

I have something similar....white polyp purple porites that develops a green growth edge when things are perfect. Unfortunately its easy to get off its game and any disturbance sets it back to purplish-brown with no edge color.

I havent managed to get a good pic yet.

I have this one. I like the polyps a little bit better.

Marko9, that's a real nice piece. Does that porites actually look as blue as that photo? Would love to see a pic of it in your tank for comparison.

I have not been able to get a good shot of it. I moved it this last weekend when moving some thing a round. Here is one from a month ago. I will try to get one later on as well. I still think it is more purple & lavender than blue.

No, I wish its the paletta. Im waiting for it to be available for months now. I thinking of the one in the aquacultured section. The purple with white polyps. Marko, is that the one?

Would like to see the paletta one grown out a bit too. If someone has.
