my friend loves these tanks, but I think they would get dirty fast with the out side glass also growing crap.

i've never seen one of these tanks dirty. I think there's so much motivation to keep them clean that they never go bad

I like how there is no "overflow" pipe. though if only a single edge overflowed, that might cut down on the algae (on both sides) issue... but then it would just become a tank with a "coast-to-coast" (see, I didn't say Calfo!) overflow.

Yah, for a few grand, right? That tank is insane and what ever deal he gives is far better then the 15K it took to set-up

Beautiful tank, but the evaporation is going to be out of controll ... make sure everything in your house is made out of stainless steel
