I bought new squishy creatures

I have a 12 gallon nano and so far i have 3 damsels and 3 clownfish, 4 shrimp and this weird tube worm thing....they look so pretty inside. i just love the sea. so anyways i bought 3 lta's today. well thats what the guy said at least. he said my maroon clownfish would love to host them. i bought them because my clownfish were so beat up from chasing each other so i bought a home for each of them so they wouldnt fight. lol. i just thought they looked cool bc they are super white with a red base also. my tank is only 3 days old and its lookin super cool already. tell me what u guys think...thanks

6 fish, 4 shrimp and 3 LTAs in a 3 day old 12 gallon nano?

Please tell me you are joking...

If you're not... in my opinion you have too many fish/shrimp in a 12 gallon tank. At three days of age it hasn't even cycled yet & is entirely too new for any livestock let alone 3 LTAs. Please do the animals a favor and take them back to the fish store.

btw... anemones should never be "super white"....

Try to sell them to another pet store. Seriously, you should've done some research beforehand. Pretty much just having 1 group of any of those animals is too many. Seriously, you should've done some research beforehand.

I don't think anyone would be this "uneducated" enough to do this. Kyle, if you are joking its been enough...

If you are serious then please return the animals.

that is a lot of fish to have in a 12 gallon. check your water quality and check your amonia levels. and get a larger aquarium. you should have 1 inch of fish per gallon

I see the trolls are out in force today.

BTW, the one inch of fish per gallon is a very poor Fresh Water rule of thumb. It doesn't work very well in FW, and it's definitely doesn't work for SW tanks.

um, that is a quote from a book of Gregory Skomal's a marine biologist i think he knows what he's talking about. the rule of thumb is "1 inch of fish per gallon of saltwater"quote of Gregory Skomal Ph.D with Boston University Marine Program in woods Hole, MA. he has been an avid aquarist for 25 years. this is no joke

Which book? I'm betting that either your misreading it, or it's a typo. BTW, Gregory is not the only marine biologist around with over 25 years in the hobby
