i just purchased the above coral, however it is in distress. it seems to have bleached, however all that remains has great color. He claims it has stopped. what are optimal conditions for this coral. I really like it and want it to survive.

Ok, first, by superman do you mean Blue base with red polyps?

If not, its not called "superman"

Second by " Monti Cap" do you mean the true species Montipora Capricornus?

If not, its not a monti cap...

Sorry to be such a bummer, but I hear people tell me they have a superman monti all the time, however, when they tell me about it, and bring a frag in, its something like an off colored Pinkish cap with purple polyps or something not even SPS...

Bunch a' crazys! haha

Does it plate, or encrust...

More than likely its the encrusting type... which is not a cap.

High light, or medium lighting? High flow or lower flow? I am looking for one myself but don't know what they're optimal conditions are.

How does anyone know what to recommend as ideal conditions for this coral if no one has ever seen one or heard of it? Not all caps are the same, and not all encrusting montis are the same, so....
