10k to 14k, do I need to worry?

I'm planning on switching from EVC 10k bulbs to the 14ks and they have a lower PAR. Is there anything I should worry about with my SPS? Thanks.

YOur sps will most likely color up a lot nicer. You just wont get as good growth as u did with the 10k IMO

i like the 14k look

The only thing really growing, is my monti cap. Everything else is growing very slow, if at all. My parameters are where they need to be, but I'm not getting the growth that most people do. Thanks for the reply.

You may want to rasie your lights or use some screening to get your corals use to the new lights. I had a nice Acro that bleached alittle after going to the 14K from 10K and I guess it was just not use to the high 420-460 nm range.

You should enjoy !!!!

I was looking at Sanjay's chart and it seems that the bulb is pretty flat everywhere else outside the 420-460nm range. Can you tell me what the best growth nm range is? Thanks.
