Arachnophobia

I saw what I believed to be a sea spider last night. It was very small (about the size of cope pod) It was white (almost clear). It had 8 legs that protruded from a cylinder shaped body. I saw him on the base of a stalk of frogspawn. I went to get the camera, and lost him. I had some Zenia that did not do to well. Half of the colony just died. I didn't think much of it at the time, because everything else was flourishing, including some button polyps, both green and yellow. I wonder was this the culprit? I had read an article on melevsreef, about predators of zoos. And every since then I have been on the look out, but I never saw anything. Last night I just happened to see one, or at least what i think is one. Are they that much of a problem? Will they harm other corals other than zoos? I have a scooter blenny, mandarian, and six line. Will they eat them, or eradicate the problem, or should I do something else.
