Colt coral help!!!
I bought this colt coral for around one week. Today, I saw that has some white spots on top of it. Is this coral dying?
My parameters are: 50 gallon and 10 gallon sump w/ bio ball and refugium(macro algae) PH: 8.2 Temp:79F Nitrate:20ppm Ammonia: 0 Nitrite:0 Calcuim:500 Alk: 7dkh 2X 92watt PC lighting Red sea classic Skimmer |

Doesnt appear to be dying. Colts are pretty hardy. At first i thought maybe bleaching, but that is virtually imposible since you only have pc lighting. I am not sure. My colts tips get lighter as it is growing, however I could not really consider it white.

Doesn't really look like a colt but maybe it's just because it's such a close up shot. I can't see the white areas being signs of death. I'd say maybe too much light.

Cant really tell from the photos but is there some kind of white fuzzy stuff on some of the ends? If so you could try washing it off using a turkey baster. Keep it clean and it may recover.

I put it at the upper level of my tank. Will this cost too much light for this coral?
