The CPR SR3 makes a good mod for the filtration system by adding a protein skimmer to improve water quality. All I had to do was remove the bio-balls and the SR3 slipped into the middle chamber without moding the lid. I have had one running for a little under a month now and it pulls out dark green skimmate. Take a look at their website, www.cprusa.com, as I believe they have posted info on the new skimmer.
Depending on what types of corals you want to keep, youu may want to look into lighting upgrades to the BC29.

read this it is awsome!!!!http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/inde...howtopic=99881

I just did a 4.36 upgrade, and hang a CSS 125 off the back. I also like the additional pump w/ drilled hole mod in the nearby 24 AP mod thread.
