Gunk growing in water change tank....

I filled my 32 rubbermade can with RO/DI water like I always do , heated and added salt. This time I was busy and let it sit for 5 days, with mag7 and heater, it was covered and today when im ready...

I drilled a hole in the top of my stand pipe...

I drilled a hole in the top of my stand pipe (durso) and stuck a peice of air line tube into it (about 12" long). This stopped the air slurping noise, and was much easier than messing with ball...

In my experiance, the remoras are underpowered. I used a mag3 on my remora and a mag7 on my pro, they worked perfectly and I had the cup set just about 2cm lower than the top.
