I have to have HOB, and that was the best I could find, Plus since I don't have a drilled tank the Overflow box keeps the surface perfectly clean.

I will go ahead and start Monday with the 12 hour...
I will go ahead and start Monday with the 12 hour skimmer run. I will do a full parameter test Monday morning shut the skimmer off and do another test 7 days later.

I did not know that smaller tangs have a low survival rate, I was just thinking of getting a small Sail fin for my 40G, and I just want to make sure that it won't get sick because of the tank size.

If someone can keep two 4" tangs in a 75G why can't I keep two 11/2 inch tangs in a 40G? Of course this is with the fact that they will be moved to a bigger tank when they get larger.
