I drilled holes around the front and the flow seems to be even stronger and not more dispersed like I had hoped.

I have a Eco Mod for Maxi jet and I don't like the flow. Don't get me wrong it's has tremendous flow but not what I want. I'll trade for K2 or similar. I'll give you a MJ 600 or a MJ 1200 to go with...

Nope he's got a 180 with a lion the size of small dog. Dennis I would test your tap water for calcium levels. The filter system that I use I have no problems with. It's not RO/DI but it works well...

I had a sailfin do the same thing. Nothing seemed to help in my situation. Perhaps I started treatment too late, in any case, he may have a disease which rots the fins until there is nothing left....
