skimmer vs refugium

The sump under my 75 has a 11 by 13 inch area where i could do either a refugium or put a skimmer which would be better for an sps dominated system with a planned medium bioload?

Sand Bed for Gobies

How deep of a sand bed do you need for shrimp gobies?
Do they need fine sand or is a crushed coral and sand combo ok for these fish?

Pairing GSM

I have a single GSM in my 75 and she has been there for about 6 months. Could I try and pair her? And if so could I do it in a 10 gallon quarantine tank?

Mated Pairs

Is it possible to keep two mated pairs, one black and white clown pair and one percula clown pair?? I have a 75 gallon tank would this be sufficient?
